The Department of General Surgery at BRMS, Dubai provides surgical facilities for elective and cases OPD basis, day care basisGeneral surgery at BRMS is comprised of Board Certified surgeons who provide evaluation and treatment for a full range of general surgery conditions.

As the name suggests, general surgery covers a wide area of surgery, but normally incudes anything to do with the abdomen such as stomach, bowel, colon, liver, pancreas and gallbladder. General surgeons may also deal with conditions relating to the skin, breast, soft tissue or hernias.

The surgical section performs diagnostic laparoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomy, etc. State of the art and ultra modern equipments are used for the procedures and staff has a wide range of experience in this.

The Department is well supported by a well equipped Radiology Department and Pathology laboratory, which can organize blood transfusions.

The Operation Theatre possesses advanced facilities such as a fully equipped set up for advanced laparoscopic surgeries and image intensifiers.
